Chris MAMA Bauer - musician, composer, improvisor, visual artist & radio personality, active in the Winnipeg music and arts scenes since the early 90's. Midbrain Surfers is one of his current band projects, where he plays drums and electronics.

Primarily self-taught, CMB invests his unique skills and ideas in whatever he does. Playing drums in notable bands Stagmummer, the VaGiants, American Flamewhip, and the Perpetrators. CMB has toured across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, and has recorded albums with Steve Albini, GGGGarth Richardson and Guess Who alumni Greg Leskiw, as well as self-producing his own sound experiments under the name AuOH.
